About
About Global Mastery Partners
Global Mastery Partners helps public institutions in Canada run better. We review how an organization works, train its people, and turn what we find into clear steps the team can act on.
The firm is led by Amina Djirdeh, Founder & Principal, who brings two things most consultants don’t have together: a finance career built on hard analysis, and years in the classroom teaching that same material to real students.
Her background
Amina spent more than a decade in finance, across investment banking, equity research, and advisory roles at firms including Scotiabank, CIBC World Markets, and Industrial Alliance Securities. She learned to find the real story inside the numbers, and to explain it plainly to the people who had to make decisions.
She then brought that skill into teaching. She has taught finance, accounting, and statistics at seven Canadian colleges and universities, including Trent University, Brandon University, the University of Niagara Falls, and Cambrian College. She builds the full course: the plan, the lessons, and the way students are graded, so every learner can follow, not just the strongest few.
Why the firm exists
Amina started Global Mastery Partners on a simple idea: most institutions don’t fail because their people aren’t capable. They fail because the system around those people quietly holds them back: how work flows, who decides what, where the gaps sit. Fix the system, and capable people do their best work.
That’s what the firm does. We look at how an organization actually runs, find what’s getting in the way, and give leaders a clear plan to fix it. No buzzwords. Just proof and plain steps.
A note from Amina
“I’ve spent my career as one of the few women of colour in Canadian finance. That experience shapes how I see institutions, and why I care about building ones that work for everyone in them.”
Credentials
Amina holds an MBA in Finance from the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto), an honours business degree from the University of New Brunswick, and a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University.
